Flying from London to Florida is frequent with many people choosing to go Saturday to Saturday. There are of course other departure points and days on which to go and we accommodate midweek bookings.
In travelling to our villa there are a number of destination airports, so you have an element of flexibility in choosing your flight. We have used Tampa (1¼ hours from the villa) and Orlando (2½ hours). Other airports are Sarasota (¾ hour), Fort Myers
The following sites are not claimed to be the only useful web places to go, but we have used them to obtain good prices.
Try the following site which we have found useful because it will display available flights. In fact whilst you are browsing a particular flight it will hold it until you ‘quit’.
These people do both scheduled and charted flights. They do have bargains – Birmingham to to Orlando for £99!. BUT usually you have to travel within 2 weeks and stay for 14 nights. Staying for 7 nights is sometimes available for £149.
We have found that dealing direct with the airlines sometimes, surprisingly, gives the best price for a scheduled flight. Try the following two which, in our opinion, offer a good quality service.
